Zlin made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Svitavy helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Tomas Jansa (188-2002) stepped up and scored 29 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) for the winners and center Jakub Krakovic (205-1990) chipped in 8 points and 14 rebounds. At the losing side the former international guard Pavel Slezak (186-1984) responded with 26 points and naturalized Slovakian point guard Roman Marko (192-1986) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
